Michael Àchílẹ Umàmẹh is a Catholic priest, a published poet, and a social commentator. He undertook the translation into Igala of Prof. Ngugi’s fable in Translation issue 01. He is an ardent advocate of Indigenous African Literature and the Ethnomathematics of the Igala speaking people of Nigeria. He holds a doctorate in Mathematics Education.
