Dorota Zarzycka was born and raised in Poland. For a number of years she assisted at the TLC conference in Warsaw where she became friends with translators and linguists worldwide. This fed her love for communication across borders. Dorota has recently emigrated to the Netherlands where she works at a translation agency. Her innate interest in language and culture means she is always on the look-out for cultural and linguistic differences, be it in her surroundings or at official language courses.

Marta Bartnicka gathered experience in translation, localization and the application of Machine Translation for more than 20 years at IBM Translation Center. Since 2018 she runs workshops on software and documentation localization and a practical approach to machine translation. In 2019 Marta joined Dolby Laboratories, leveraging her expertise in Localization and exploring Publishing Engineering.
