World in a cardboard box
knotted by a thread of languages,
crumpled, stifled,
wrapped by a power of communication.
The thread woven with words,
inspired by paraphrases,
the way to discussion
is opened, the dreamed.
Loop of the world
towering over the green globe,
in language sees
the source of the strength.
Świat w tekturowym pudle
zasupłany nicią języków,
zmięty, stłamszony,
owinięty potęgą komunikacji.
Nić ze słów utkana,
natchniona parafrazami,
droga do dyskusji
jest otwarta, wyśniona.
Kokarda świata
góruje nad zielonym globem,
w języku widzi
źródło swej mocy.
Norbert Gora is a 25-year old poet and writer from Poland. He has written horror, SF and romances short stories, which have been published in his home country. His poem The feathery immensity of blue was published in the English-language poetry anthology Contemporary Writers of Poland.
